Any trip to Maine would not be complete without a trip to the Pemaquid Lighthouse. It’s only about an hour north of here. This is my second time there and I always look for “the”iconic shot of the lighthouse reflected in a puddle. You can see it in travel brochures and calendars, and now on my blog.

There were also plenty of seabirds there. This is one of my favorites. I know that it is only a seagull, but still I like it!

I am sure that there is a story behind the bell…I just don’t know what it is!

I got there early and pretty much had the place to myself until about 10 am. What a treat it was to get to wander around looking for the perfect shot of such a beautiful Maine landmark. Lucky me.
Great job!
??
Thanks, Peter

Fantastic shots as usual my friend!
Thanks John, I missed seeing you in Maine.to bad it didn’t work out. Kim is taking a 4 day watercolor class in Bar Harbor, so I get to play all day in Acadia!
Thanks,
Peter

Peter, your photos could populate a Maine coffee table book. That seagull looks HUGE!
Glad you like them. It’s easy to take a good photo when you are surrounded by beauty. Fall is definitely coming.
Thanks,
Peter
