Iron Mountain Campground

We have spent 3 wonderful days at Iron Mountain Recreation Area which is just outside of Arkadelphia Arkansas. It has been hot, it rained an we had an invasion of tiny black biting ants, but despite the challenges we have truly enjoyed ourselves.

There were plenty of hilly trails to give my e-bike a challenge.
This is our route so far!
Yesterday marks a week on the road. The blue dot marks our present location.

We do have a ways to go! And our next camping spot is only 40 minutes away! So not too much progress in the next few days. Rest assured that we will get there, but our plan is to have a lot of fun doing it.

  1. change that route a little to the south and we could see you in Georgia!!! Are you stopping in north Arkansas? I’ve heard the Bentonville//Fayetteville area of Arkansas is stunning.
    enjoy the trip and I love the updates.

    • She is doing much better. Maybe on the way home we can stop, as we have just 3 more weeks before we need to be in Maine, and we don’t seem to be making a lot of progress. Yet! ________________________________

  2. Glad to see you’re having fun.

    We’re going to a pool party in Comfort on the 4th. Haven’t been to one of those in a year or more.
