This is our last stop before getting to Maine. We didn’t know what to expect as I found out after we booked it that it had many bad reviews, and, at least for us, it was very expensive. I mean like a $100 per night. It was, however, the only place that I could find between Maine and our last campground on the weekend.

The reviews said that there was not much room between the sites- true. That it was difficult to back into your site-true! That the park had seen better days- also true, but there was something in the way that the regulars, of which there were many, had a real affection for the place. It was infectious, and quickly rubbed off on us.

The temps couldn’t be any better. Cloudy and in the 70’s. After all, that’s what we had driven over 2000 miles to find.
That looks lovely. Massachusetts is just wonderful in the summer. My older son is usually in the Northampton (MA) area but he happens to be playing jazz in the Frankfurt (Germany!) area for the next 10 days.
Nice for him. What a nice reception I bet he is getting. I am still enjoying listening to your selection of music. 🎵
Thanks,
Peter

So, all I have to do is drive around 2,000 miles away from Texas to beat this heat?
Even that’s not guaranteed! Yuk, global warming is everywhere!
Thanks,
Peter
