Things are Humming Along Nicely

We have been working on Leslianna’s compound, so to reward us she cooked up a few lobsters.

Yummy!

We stopped at the local lobster market, and one of the workers was happy to show us some rare blue lobsters that one of the boats had brought in. I asked him if he ever ate one and he replied, “I don’t eat them…at all!”

They were indeed, pretty blue!

Just a short walk from the lobster shack was a beautiful small bay with fog that had begun to roll in.

Fog, and a beautiful secluded bay to photograph. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Here is Kim enjoying the fog.
Then it really started to roll in.

We are truly both enjoying the scenery and the cooler weather.

See you next time.

  1. Dearest Peter and Kim,
I am living vicariously through your Maine adventures, including imaging eating lobster and corn. Your photographs are wonderful!

In lieu of being grounded, we have been savoring the speed of change in the political world. Blessings on Biden for stepping aside. Tim Walz seems to be the perfect antidote to Trump and Vance.

In a few days Bob’s daughter Elizabeth (from his first marriage) will arrive with her husband and three children from Washington, D.C.. On the day they depart, they will be followed by our 23-year-old granddaughter Lily, (Audrey’s youngest). After that we will be ready for a quiet Labor Day.

    • Joan,
That is so special to hear from you. I feel like I know you really well after listening to Kim tell all of the wonderful stories about you. Sounds like you have been really blessed. I am very lucky to have found such a good partner on Kim.
Enjoy you visits with your family and the quiet that come afterwards. They are both special.
Here is to keeping our fingers crossed that the election finishes in a positive way.

      Thanks,
      Peter
