Last night was our first almost full day in Ireland. The plane ride was relatively uneventful. We were seated way in the back row 50, which turned out to be a blessing, as there were so few people in the back of the plane that I got to stretch out over 3 seats, and sleep through a good part of the trip.

Later in the afternoon, Kim’s sister Paige and her husband Paige took us to to downtown Dublin for an out of this world gourmet meal at a restaurant named “La Gordita”. The food, the drinks, and the company made for a great evening.

Today we will be taking the train down to Kerry where we will spend the next few weeks. I for one can’t wait to see what this next part of the adventure offers.
