Dingle, Ireland
2025-09-24
Our hosts, Paige and John took us on a lovely excursion to the town of Dingle. The town has a lovely mixture of hotels and restaurants and art shops. We had tapas at the restaurant Solas, and as with every eatery that we have been to, the food was other worldly.

Then it was off to have a pint of Guinness and watch the local talent entertain the packed pub for a few hours.

In the morning it was off to a beautiful drive around the Dingle Peninsula stopping at Inch Beach where some brave souls were taking surfing lessons in the sunny but chilly weather.

The drive itself is spectacular. The roads are narrow and winding which just added to the adventure.

And now to my favorite spot. Coumeenoole Beach, which it is said to be the most westerly point in Europe.

They say that more than a few famous films were made here.
It was a long day of driving for John. When we got home we all went to our respective corners for some much needed rest.
Beautiful and thanks ❤️❤️Sent from my iPhone
