Playa Nosara, Costa Rica
So, so far so good. We have landed at Leslianna's little hideaway just a few block from a gorgeous beach. There are many surfers that use it, Leslianna being one of them, but just as many tourists also use the beach, especially at sunset when everyone finds their place to settle in for a usually spectacular show.
Paige, Kim's sister and John, her husband, are here also. They where to arrive from California to the beach, a few days before us, but what with the stolen bag fiasco we found ourselves returning our rental car on the day after they had arrived at the Liberia airport. We were on our way to return our rental car, when we found ourselves driving right by the airport hotel that they were staying in. We decided to drop in and see if the might not have left yet. Sure enough they we still there. We had a nice breakfast with them and then shared the 2 1/2 hour tourist bus with them down to the beach. It was a perfect hookup in a distant foreign land.
We have not yet fallen into a routine, but it is very mellow passing of the the day and evening. There is always much discussion as to should we go to the beach or for ice cream. Neither one a bad choice. The morning seems to be taken up by coffee, a trip to the beach and a cooling swim. Then lay in the sun followered by more laying in the sun. Then, oh my god it is already time for breakfast. Well, you get the idea.
“Pura vida”
I really hate to see you two suffering there at the beach. I know it’s tough, but someone has to do it.
Sounds like an absolutely wonderful day. Jealous !!!
